Primary

Worksheets quickly become a boring way to learn, especially for younger children. Don't forget to include a range of arts and crafts (at least an hour away from screens!), physical activity and fresh air wherever possible.

Below you will find some resources for Primary School students that will hopefully be a bit more interesting than worksheets. I will update this page as I come across more resources.

On YouTube there are some great videos of authors reading stories, under the hashtag #OperationStoryTime

The Fact Detectives is a podcast provided by Museum Victoria that provides fascinating information about science and history.

Education site Twinkl provide a free sample pack of worksheets.

The ABC in Australia provide a huge range of resources for free, broken down into age ranges and subjects. It's certainly one of the most comprehensive resources I found.

From our UK friends, the BBC also provide a huge range of free resources.

Don't forget hands-on learning for subjects like Science! Fizzics education has a huge range of Science experiments for Primary aged students that can be completed using household items.

Cool Maths Games has a wide range of logic puzzles and problem solving games for all ages.

Maths Is Fun has a wide range of printable worksheets for teaching Mathematics. Just beware that these can become tedious quick;y.
